EN: I believe that Universal Studios do not need any special introduction. There are only four entertainment parks of this kind in the world, two of them in USA (Hollywood and Orlando), one of them in Singapore and the last one in Osaka. And the one in Osaka broke all the visitor records in the year of its opening – this stuff is very popular in Japan. The entry is not entirely cheap, 7000 yen plus two options of Express Pass which lets you jump the queues – I really recommend this as the lines were incredibly long and the waiting times sometimes exceeded 90 minutes. Those Express Passes were seriously the best option out there, otherwise you can spend half a day waiting in the lines. The visit of Universal Studios had been in my plans since I started planning the whole trip, but I never expected it could be such fun. Especially Spiderman 3D and Back to the Future ride were really cool. Plus the roller-coaster, which inspired me to visit the Thunder Dolphin in Tokyo later on.
SK: Myslím, že k tomuto sa netreba príliš rozpisovať. Na svete sú iba štyri parky, dva z nich sú v USA (Hollywood a Orlando), jeden z nich v Singapure a jeden v Osake. A práve ten v Osake je zapísaný v Guinessovej knihe rekordov ako park, ktorý navštívilo za jeden rok najviac ľudí. A hoci vstupné je relatívne vysoké (7000 yenov základ + dve voľby expresných lístkov, ktoré umožňujú preskočiť rady – naozaj odporúčam, na niektoré atrakcie sa čakalo aj 110 minút), neľutujem to. Návšteva Universalu bola skvelým zážitkom a nikdy by som nepovedal, že ma tie atrakcie tak pobavia, hlavne čo sa týka Spidermana 3D a Back to the Future ride. Výborný park iba niekoľko minút od centra Osaky. Fotky a videá z atrakcií samozrejme nemám, nechcel som sa prizabiť alebo uškrtiť fotoaparátom…
