EN: Given that I knew the upcoming day would be the last one with favorable, sunny weather during my trip, I chose my destination accordingly. The city of Marugame was an evident selection, offering splendid views of the city and surrounding areas, including a distant glimpse of the Seto Ohashi Bridge, plus the bonus of another castle. Marugame Castle may not boast the largest keep, but its immense stone walls and the unparalleled views from its summit are remarkable. Its proximity to Takamatsu JR station, being only a relatively short journey away, makes it an ideal choice for a side excursion. Marugame also hosts other attractions, such as Honjima Island. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I had to forgo the visit to this location. At the end I returned back to Takamtsu and checked out its rather windy harbour and seaside.
